This seventh image in my Macro Monday SOFT series is a bit of a departure from the other images due to the Iighting. In most cases, whenever I shoot macro, I seek soft light and open shade, which keeps strong shadows at bay and gently reveals detail. But when I saw the vivid colors of this flower and the way the light was dancing off the leaves, I knew opening up my aperture would create beautiful circles of bokeh in my final image. Bright, yet soft. Always fun to experiment!
